Custom Sticker Artwork Checklist Before Ordering
RETLPER product guides · Published
Prepare your artwork, inspect the cutout, compare borderless and white-border finishes, and review the size and quantity in RETLPER's custom studio.
Decide what should remain in the cutout
Start with artwork you have the right to reproduce. Before opening the studio, decide which parts belong to the finished sticker and which parts are only background. Letters, thin lines and disconnected details deserve particular attention: removing a background can also remove a small element you wanted to keep.
Use the clearest source file you have. Enlarging a screenshot or heavily compressed image does not restore the missing detail. Inspect your file at the intended physical size, not only at a large screen zoom. If the design includes text, check spelling, punctuation and legibility before you rely on a preview.
Inspect the preview after background removal
The studio can help preview a cutout, but automatic processing still needs your review. Look around every edge, through enclosed areas of lettering and between small shapes. Check for unwanted background remnants and missing artwork. A successful upload is not the same as confirming that the artwork is ready to produce.
Compare the cutout against your original. If a feature disappears, revise the source artwork or ask for help rather than assuming the printed result will recover it. The preview is useful for checking design choices; it is not a guarantee that every surface, screen color or very fine detail will behave exactly as it appears on your display.
Choose borderless or a white border deliberately
A borderless contour follows the artwork without the separate white-border option. The studio also offers a 2mm white contour border. Compare the options against the background where you intend to display the sticker: light artwork can blend into a light surface, while a border can change the visual outline of a compact design.
The finish is part of the pricing configuration. Use the live quote after choosing it, and check the finish again in your cart. Do not assume two finishes share the same minimum or pricing formula. The current studio is the source for the actual goods price at your chosen size and quantity.
Confirm size, quantity and order details
Measure the intended placement and check both the long side and estimated short side. A paper template can help you judge fit before ordering. If you resize a design, recheck small lettering and thin features. Keep decorative artwork away from the driver's view and required vehicle equipment, and check that the proposed surface is appropriate before applying anything.
Review the artwork, chosen finish, dimensions and quantity together before proceeding. The goods subtotal does not establish your final shipping charge or destination taxes; those depend on the checkout details. Use the contact page for artwork questions and read the Customer Artwork & IP Policy for the store's requirements. Providing clear notes and the relevant dimensions makes a design question easier to resolve.
